Stellar makes the following commitments to our customers:

• Stellar power washes all surfaces to be painted with a 2500 to 3500 PSI washer unit.
  
• Stellar provides our customers with a full line of liability and workers comp. Insurance to protect you!  Many contractors do not carry the appropriate insurance policies or do not have insurance at all! Please verify all insurance with a contractor’s agent within 24 hours to protect yourself.
  
• Stellar provides on-site supervision with crew leaders who have at least ten years experience.
  
• Stellar provides paint techs to work with the crew leaders that have a minimum of six to eight years experience and are journeyman painters.
  
• Stellar nails all loose boards with a Galvanized Spiral Nail.
  
• Stellar Primes all bare wood surfaces with a 24 hour re-coat oil base primer.
  
• Stellar caulks all voids with a premium Lifetime Warranty elastomeric caulk that will expand and contract with temperatures. This would include baton strips, windows and vertical boards and tongue & groove siding to trim boards as needed.
  
• Stellar will replace severe dry rotted trim boards and/or siding with certified accredited carpenters.
  
• Stellar will prime all plywood, OSB Board and T-111 with Acrylic Primer. Oil base primers will not adhere properly as these surfaces move appreciable with temperatures and the primer may pop off.
  
• Stellar will offer professional color consultation.
  
• Stellar’s coating systems apply a premium 100% Acrylic Hi-grade paint product to maximize live of job.
  
• Stellar will provide full protection to our customers and our people by carrying a full line of workers comp. and liability insurance.
  
• Stellar provides a fully transferable warranties for our exterior painting & staining systems.
  
• Stellar will provide our customers free exterior Home or Stucco inspections
  
• Stellar applies a Premium STO Brand Silco-Lastic Elastomeric Specialty Coating System to all Stucco. Stucco Homes usually need to be coated at 8-10 years due to cracking, delamination to corners and staining. We are experts at these systems.
  
• Stellar gives special attention to apply extra coating to the bottom edge of masonite siding boards to arrest any further swelling or warping.
  
• Stellar encapsulates all “wax bleed” with oil base primer. This is a wax that is drawn out by the sun through the surface of the masonite board when all that is left is pigmentation or color and very little paint film. It looks like a grease spot on your house. No Acrylic Primers!
  
• Stellar will apply special peel stop primers to help stop constant peeling on all horizontal window surfaces such as sills and badly alligatored siding or soffits.

Stellar’s commitment to our clients is NOT to do the following:

• Use cheap builder grade paints.
• Use sub-par prep products like acrylic primers or acrylic caulks.
• Spill, splatter or brush paint where it is not intended to be.
• Leave a job un-supervised, undermanned or overmanned.
• Leave the job to start another prior to finishing.

• Place low wage, unskilled or low skilled painters on your project
• No cheap builder grade paints.
• Spill, splatter, or brush paint where it is not intended to be.
• Leave a job un-supervised, undermanned or over manned.
• Leave the job to start another prior to finishing.
• Apply 2 coats of paint by cross-hatching with a wet on wet application. This will void your paint warranty, lower the life of the job down to 3 to 5 years and is clear-cut cheating.
